Anna M. Beiler received her PhD at Arizona State University with Gary Moore and Tom Moore for her work on molecular-modified semiconductors for solar-driven hydrogen evolution. She then joined the Sascha Ott lab at Uppsala University where she developed electroactive metal-organic frameworks for improving charge separation at semiconductor surfaces. She is currently supported by the European Union´s MSCA-IF and hosted by Antoni Llobet at the Institute for Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ). Her latest research examines heterogeneous ammonia oxidation using molecular complexes.
