Inke Siewert, born 1980, pursued her undergraduate studies at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin (Germany) from 1999 to 2004. In January 2009, she received her PhD from the same university (supervisor Prof. C. Limberg). Subsequently, she went for a postdoc stay to the University of Oxford (U.K.). In 2011, she started her independent research at Göttingen University (Germany). In 2017, she was appointed as an associate professor and in 2021 promoted to full professor. Her research interests are focused on molecular electrochemistry with coordination complexes and, more recently, also with main group compounds. She investigates fundamental aspects of PCET mediators and their application in molecular electrocatalysis.
