Veronica Augustyn is the Jake & Jennifer Hooks Distinguished Scholar in Materials Science & Engineering, University Faculty Scholar, and Associate Professor at North Carolina State University. She also serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Materials Chemistry A and Materials Advances. Her research group focuses on the design, synthesis, and mechanistic understanding of materials for electrochemical energy and environmental technologies. Recent research topics include PCET in metal oxides, electrochemical behavior under confinement in layered materials, and solid state ion transport mechanisms.
